Friday I had a couple of hours to head up to Mt Rose to do some snowboarding. With 15-18" of new powder I figured this would be a great chance for me to try snowboarding for the second time!
Heff (AR Productions) and I met up at about 10am and of course went straight to the bar for some liquid courage and sat down and enjoyed a few cocktails and relished in the moment of being on the mountain early in the day when most everyone was at work.We also ran into weatherman Ron Percivalle from Channel 2. He expressed his concerns for my safety and I assured him I could snowboard better than I did traffic! Hahaha
No Wind, No Crowds, just excellent powder and wide open terrain. Heff skied backwards most of the time filming and laughing when I crashed. If you get a chance go see for yourself. If not here's the AR video:
