I Believe I can Fly.......

I can remember a week ago getting sweaty palms, shortness of breath and becoming very nervous talking on-the-air about getting on an airplane. My fear of flying has hindered me from a free vacation to the Bahamas I earned in 1998 in a sales contest, multiple concerts with my wife, and too many trips to list that sounded like fun with the exception of a plane ride.

This has been the last decade of my life.

Like sitting across the table from an old friend Dan and I discussed my therapy and before I knew it we we’re already involved in “throwing away” my fear of flying.

When the hypnosis process began I never felt like Dan had control of my mind as Hollywood would have you believe. It felt like Dan and I we’re taking a trip down a road I had never been on and he had not only been down this road before, but he was going to help me negotiate the twists and turns of this journey at MY comfort level.

Needless to say I no longer have a fear of flying and just like he said I look forward now to my next flight. Dan didn’t cast a spell on me or make me look at flying recklessly. (I still wouldn’t get on a one winged plane) He unlocked the confidence I already had to fly , I just lost the key in the back of my mind and he showed me where it was.

Reading is LAME!!!

I have always said reading is lame and now to prove it to you, here are some stupid words that will make sense if you read them no matter how they are spelled,...hence READING IS LAME!!!

Private Valentine reporting for duty!

We helped raise money for the American Heart Association by letting the Army National Guard kick my butt. Major Trish made sure she got her moneys worth too, I had to do 30 pushups, March and figure out within seconds which way was right and left, and walk a tight rope 30ft on the air. At least I didn't have to READ!!

Other activities include music, drink specials, raffles, prizes for best of show, and an appearance from the Miller Girls.

Applebee’s will also be holding a “dining to donate” in honor of the scholarship fund from 4p-930p. 15% of all food proceeds will go directly to the fund.

20" Ape Hangers are Killer

Finally a place in today's economy that realizes how to "service the customer". RENO CHOP SHOP quoted me a price and a finish date for the fabrication and installation of my 20" ape hangers and came in under budget and ahead of schedule!!!
But the most important thing they did for me was take the time to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted and even did a "mock-up" for me which took some time out of their day that I wasn't charged for. I feel like I got my moneys worth and because of the whole experience I can't wait to get my next customization project started!!! I rode 200 miles last Sunday and my back isn't killing me for the first time in the past 20 years after a long ride. Thanks guys, the Apes are KILLER!

Another ride in Nevada....

Me and my buddy Don headed out on a ride last Saturday, and after 250 miles we were able to see the Wabuska Bar, Topaz Lake and the oldest bar in Nevada all in the same day. One of the highlights of the day trip was the Wabuska Bar where not only do they have PBR on tap but if the train goes by and you're at the bar,...drinks are on the house. Women are always hitting on me!!

I say alot of stuff on the radio that gets me in trouble with the ladies. But as starved for attention as I am,... I like it when girls "hit on me"! I've been married for 11 years so any kind of physical contact is appreciated.

Heres on of my biggest admirers setting a great example for her kids.

Baby Britney

Just as I thought, being a parent was a great way to get chicks. Baby Britney is not the cutest baby in the world so of course I went out and got her some clothes first. Thats when I realized all the chicks in Ross we're checkin me out. Not like they normally do but in a "oh how cute" not a "He's so cute" way.
We went to eat at Genghis Grill.
We went bicycle riding.
We went to my remote on Sunday.
We went shooting.
And I stick to my original thought. If you have a kid ,...Its not easy but the reward is greater than the effort. And if you're a dad,.... you don't haveta cash in your man card and strap the little rugrat to your stomach. Be a man! Share the responsibility with Mom and If you're gonna carry your child do it like a man and don't use a pink carrier and look like a big wussie!

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Richie Sambora, lead guitarist for the rock band Bon Jovi, was charged with drunk driving on Tuesday after being arrested in March in the Southern California community of Laguna Beach.

Prosecutors said in announcing the charges that Sambora had a blood alcohol level of 0.13 percent when Laguna Beach police stopped him for weaving across lanes in his black Hummer.

He faces a possible six months in jail if convicted and was ordered to appear in court on May 7 for an arraignment.

Prosecutors rejected a recommendation by police to also charge the guitarist, a longtime Laguna Beach resident, with child endangerment because there were two minors in his car when he was stopped.

"We believe that in order for us to file child endangerment charges there would have had to be additional aggravating circumstances," District Attorney's spokeswoman Farrah Emami said.

She said those circumstances could include driving erratically or speeding.

Isn't the reason he was pulled over because he was "driving erratically"?
And wasn't he Endagering his Child when he was driving drunk??

This guy should not only face a drunk driving charge but CHILD ENDANGERMENT as well. After all if he isn't charged with Child endangerment what does it mean??

We live in a country where you have every right to protest something you don't believe in. It's called the 1st amendment and thats why it's first, cuz it's the most important.
If you belong to a religious cult and want to protest a persons memorial service you have every right to do so in America. I realize your parents were too ignorant to drink the "Kool-aide" Jim Jones was serving, or you're still upset that your family tree was burned down in Waco and you need to fabricate something else to be angry about. I understand that being an Idiot does not strip you of you're 1st amendment right.
However .....MY 1st amendment right entitles me to stand in front of you douchebags in the snow and make sure that the Reno Police department escorts you back to the rock in which you crawled out from under in the first place.

Happy Trey Valentines Day

Every year as a young child on my birthday I would get a Valentines Day themed birthday party with heart shaped invitations and a pink or red heart shaped cake. Not very cool as a young BOY!!
I quickly learned that girls liked the girlish side of me and as of the 4th grade really started milking "Trey Valentines Day" to my advantage. Valentines Day is MY birthday, and I dont need to take the day I was born and share it with the rest of the population (who averages a 50% divorce rate)just because Hallmark wants to sell a few thousand cards.
I celebrate the love of my life on February 23rd, OUR anniversary, and this year I will do so for the 11th time. There is no question I love my wife, I just choose to do it every other day of the year and NOT ON MY BIRTHDAY!!
This year tho, she will be getting not only this excellent Valentines CARD, but some other gifts as well and if this jinxes our marrage just remember one thing,
IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!

Snowboarding @ Alpine Meadows

Being from Southern California I've always enjoyed skiing but never had an opportunity to do it much. Now that I live in Americas Adventure Place I can really take the outdoor "bull by the horns" and enjoy my hyperactivity. The ski resorts in this area are second to none. There are so many to choose from!
This time Heff and I conquered Alpine Meadows. Beautiful groomed conditions, no wind, no wait, and wide open runs. 3rd time on a snowboard I figured it was time to try my first jump.Don't worry it wasn't my first crash!!
